The testlaboratory is accredited according to DIN EN ISO 17025:2005 and acknowledged by the ZLG. Biological tests of medical products and dental materials (DIN EN ISO 10993-5 and 10993-6, DIN EN ISO 7405) as well as inorganic-analytical tests are performed.
The
following
biological tests can be offered:

Cell proliferation in contact with extracts or
in direct contact (cell Counting)
- Metabolic activity in contact with extracts or in direct contact (WST 1-test)
- Protein synthesis in contact with extracts or in direct contact (determination of protein content according to Lowry)
- Cell damage and lysis in indirect contact (agar diffusion test)For these tests
usually mouse fibroblasts (L929) are used, if required site-specific
cells can
be offered.
The
inorganic-analytical test procedure applies to the analysis of phase
composition respectively verification of identity on calcium phosphate
cements
by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD).
